Hello Family and Friends:
Bob and I just returned from Guatemala where we visited Caylie for 5 days. Caylie is doing so well. She is getting stronger and healthier. She is almost walking and is developing a very funny and sweet personality. Did I forgot to say stubborn? Yes, she is a tad stubborn but that is ok - just means she knows what she wants.
We were lucky enough to have dinner with our friend Katerin who lives in Guatemala but unfortunately we didn't get any pictures of her and Caylie this time. We also had the opportunity to spend some time with Kim, Kevin and Isabela. Hopefully Isabela will be joining her family soon.
This is a really big week for us. On Tuesday, 2/20 , Caylie will have a DNA test done with her birth mom. We have waited for this step to happen since November! It will take about 2 weeks for the results to be sent to our agency.
All in all, things are moving and Caylie is wonderful. We are going back for my birthday on April 18th for 4 days. I can't imagine a better present than seeing her again!
Thank you all for your kind words, thoughts and excitement over Caylie. Please enjoy the next two pages of photos from our visit.
