The pictures below are from this past Saturday. We (Mimi, Stacey, Camryn, Caylie & Me) went to see Disney on Ice. What a great show! We really had a fun time. I am dedicating this post to Stacey and Cam:
Stacey -
I love this picture of our beautiful girls! I am so glad we met and became friends! "Mom's" meet all of the time through their kid's schools and activities. But we met through adoption and that is so special. I am amazed at how in sync we are when it comes to our girls. Do you remember when Caylie first came home and we met...I must have driven you crazy over my worry about Caylie's speech. Surely, you thought to yourself "this woman is a looney-not sure if I want to strike up a friendship with her!!" I had my little girl labeled as "autistic" and you made me feel so much better about her. You kept telling me that there was nothing wrong with her. And you were so right! Thank you for supporting me so much during that time. It is kind of eerie how we do things so similar with Cam and Caylie. I can't believe we both bought our girls Bumble Bee costumes for Halloween before we even talked! Even though you took yours back and exchanged for a Ladybug! Nobody would have believed that we didn't plan that!
Caylie loves Cam...and just adores you! I really hope that no matter where our lives take us, we will stay in touch and encourage our girls to be friends when they are older. They share the same heritage, the same culture and the same beginnings at life. Who would have ever thought that two "Deerfield Beach" girls, that never met before, although we own homes in the same neighborhood, would have met this way? We love Camryn and we are here for you both always!

Kel--
I feel the same way as you do. I am so lucky to have met you through our adoption journeys. I adore you and your entire family, and feel like you are now part of mine and Camryn's family. I too hope that our girls continue to strengthen their friendship, and we do as well. It is truly amazing how both we and our girls connect. And by the way, you know that we will have the cutest little bumblebees and ladybugs around for Halloween.
