Dear Family and Friends,We are on a role! Yesterday we received these two new pictures of Caylie and a medical update. She now weighs 16.5 lbs and the report reads that she is doing very well. It appears she really likes "Dora the Explorer" so we will have to remember that when we go see her in a few weeks. She is now 15 1/2 months old. What a tiny peanut she is!
We have also received information on our adoption process. Our file has finally been translated into spanish and our facilitator is going to try to get it Family Court next week in front of a Social Worker. The Social Worker has to review our file and interview Caylie's birth mom and then has 30 days to write a report recommending that Caylie be adopted by us. Please cross your fingers for us and Caylie that this step goes well. We will update again as soon as we hear something new.
